Filipino Sabbath

So excited today because for over a decade I couldn't wear a Filipino dress coz of my weight or/and insecurities. Today, for Filipino Day at church, I was able to fit (although a bit tight) into my Mom's Filipino dress. How great is that!!! :D

My lil' Love

I enjoy spending time with my boy. Today, we got to hang out listening to Adventure in Odyssey and Bible Bananagrams just like old times. :) I appreciate Sabbaths like today, doesn't happen often.

afternoon adventure

We sorely needed family time where time was a factor and it's just the three of us. So we decided to explore the richness Ontario has to offer. :)

We picked up our boy from school and whisk him off to Port Hope. It's about a 20-30 minutes drive.

It was a wonderful time! Lil' Allen greatly enjoyed the adventure. Port Hope Marina is a hidden jewel.

Trying to get back to reality

It's been really hard this past week with the move and all. I found myself ignoring my good habits so that I can pour all my attention to unpacking and organizing.

Now I'm having a REAL difficulty eating healthy. :(

So far I've had 2 1/2 pancakes with a total of 1 tbs maple syrup.

Haven't weighed myself... kinda scared!

Finally moved in, thanks to a bunch of amazing people for helping us!

I always tackle the kitchen first after moving in. Feels good to scrub the kitchen clean. It's all disinfected too! :D
